If you wish to stay on the Romanian territory for a long period, you must submit an application for obtaining a residence permit with a minimum of 30 days before the expiration of the right granted by the visa or other means by which you have been offered the right to stay.
Required documents
Depending on the reason for which you want to obtain the residence permit, different documents are required:
- passport
- supporting documents regarding the border crossing
- proof of housing: rent, convenience, sale – purchase, etc
- civil status documents
- statements
- proof of income: ONRC certificate, ANAF certificate, pension heel, etc
