Competition Law

Competition Law

It was defined as the set of regulations meant to ensure, in domestic and international market relations, the existence and normal exercise of competition between economic agents, in the fight for winning, expanding and maintaining the client.

If you consider that a rival company will make unfair competition by certain actions we can sue the economic agent to force him to cease those activities and possibly to pay you damages.

In competition law, there is a policy of maintaining and promoting fair practices in order to guarantee fair and equal conditions of competition.

Large companies do not have the right to use their bargaining power to impose conditions on their clients or suppliers that would make it difficult for them to conduct commercial contracts with competing firms. The Commission may fine companies that resort to such practices, as they may result in price increases and / or reduced supply. Generally, in practice, the Commission tends to punish companies more and more gently if they “relapse” sometimes reaching derisory fines for some very developed companies.
